UNIFIED SMART METERING SYSTEM
As part of the national Unified Smart Meter System (USMS) project, Berakas Power Company is replacing all existing Conlog meters with USMS meters to offer our customers the added functionality of combining both electricity and water metering capabilities into a single module. Berakas Power Company has strategically planned the transition to ensure that our valued customers can benefit from the full potential of this state-of-the-art technology.
Berakas Power Company is committed to a complete migration of our current metering system to the USMS system by the end of 2023 as the Conlog meters will no longer be supported in 2024 hence our existing customers will be unable to purchase electricity through the existing online or prepaid scratch cards methods if they do not transition to the USMS system.
The new USMS platform provides enhanced functionality and improved efficiency for BPC customers to manage their utility consumption.
MONTHLY TARIFF TIERS
BPC Electricity tariffs consist of four different tiers and rates.
Energy consumption of 600kWh or below is charged
BND 0.01 / kWh
Energy consumption between 601kWh to 2000 kWh is charged
BND 0.08 / kWh
Energy consumption between 2001kWh to 4000 kWh is charged
BND 0.10 / kWh
Energy consumption above 4000 kWh is charged
BND 0.12 / kWh
